INPIRATION SPRINGS FROM THE SMALLEST THINGS!!!
I picked up this adorable tin Sheep for a mere $8.00 this summer and it was the inspiration for the conversion of this gorgeous cupboard.
Made from a salvaged maple farm table we enclosed it and I painted it the colours of the Tin Sheep sign, which will eventually hang on the cupboard door above. I roughed up the cupboard, stained and waxed and here it is.
It is now the home to my huge collection of cookware including all of my mixers and food processors.
Big castor wheels which I have been saving, make it easy to move if need be. Bonus, I get to use the top as a coffe centre.

BEEN AWAY TOO LONG....OUR NEWEST OLD CREATION!!!
It has been a while since I posted on this blog. Been so busy this summer on the farm I have barely kept up with my WICKED FAERIE QUEEN Blog.
As you all know our business 13 Mockingbirds, where we made reproduced primitive furniture, has been asleep for a while. My husband decided to start building again and this is his first creation.
This gorgeous Wine/Desk/Cupboard is made of rough pine and finished lovingly by me in Raven Black. Worn off in all the right spots for the authentic primitive look. A large door on the bottom opens to a roomy inside with 2 shelves. On top the "Drawer" drops down to make a shelf for serving and inside there is room to hang 6 large or 8 small wine glasses as well as plenty of room for you favourite libation.
This is really a nice piece. I love my husbands work and this time he really outdid himself.
The cost of this piece is $425.00 Canadian and you can choose any colour you like or leave it natural.
Interested? Just e-mail me through my blog.

OLD IS THE BEST!
I just wanted to share some of the beautiful old pieces I have stored in my studio. These were from my grandmother's farm and I just love them.
